NEW - Hearing Rescheduling and Adjournment Guideline 1.2007

Setting a date for hearing:
The Board shall choose the time, date and location of a hearing. Factors taken into consideration may include the location of the land at issue, proximity to landowner’s residence, availability of facilities to host hearing and, should the parties choose to retain legal council, the availability of their respective solicitors.

Notice of Hearing:
The Notice of Hearing will then be mailed to all parties to the proceeding.

Hearing preliminaries:
Normally the Board panel consists of 3 Board Members one of whom chairs the hearing.

Once the hearing is called to order the Chair shall introduce the panel members, ask the parties to state their name for the record and outline the purpose of the hearing.
